After a rollercoaster ride of a season, Village Manchester FC have delivered their second trophy in successive seasons by being crowned League Champions.
The club was promoted into the Premier division only 3 seasons ago and after a first season spent adapting to the higher standard of the league, the club has gone from strength to strength and have now followed up last year’s League Cup win with the big prize by becoming League Champions. First Team Manager Stu Butters was clearly delighted with the ground breaking season, “it’s been far from a text book season and at times it’s felt like being a guest on the Jerry Springer show!, but we always knew we had players with the character to take us close and when we needed to grind out results at crucial times we did it better than anyone”.
