What is Club Locked?
Club Locked is a monthly Fun and Friendly Fetish Social night held on every third Saturday of the month from 7pm – 11pm at the Eagle Bar in Bloom Street, Manchester. It grew from a desire to have an event that was truly run for and by its members, whether they are new to the fetish scene or old hands and whether they have loads of gear or none.
Club Locked is a community initiative, run by a team of volunteers, none of whom get paid and the membership and entry fees are put back into the club by investing in new play equipment, give-aways and competitions.
Is there a dress code?
The only dress code is that you must wear footwear and have your genitals covered. If you are going to be spending time on your knees or all-fours, we recommend knee pads and paws or gloves in case of glass on the floor, as sometimes happens in a bar. Some guys come in gear, from pups, ABs and rubber gimps to guys in casual wear or a jock and harness.
Why should I attend?
Manchester has a thriving fetish scene and many of our members also attend other events but the emphasis at Club Locked is on providing a safe and friendly space where guys can socialise, have a few drinks, make friends, and play out some of their kinks, or learn about others', without a strict dress code.
Club Locked is for men-only and of course that includes trans men and anyone who presents as male.
What can I expect to see at Club Locked?
Friends and other like-minded guys socialising and having fun over a drink or two. We get a good mix of ages, mostly guys in their twenties but also older guys. Guys in fetish gear from not very much to full coverage, and guys in casual wear. Guys getting tied up or trying out our Fetish equipment or having some play. Club Locked is not a sex club. Photos are not allowed except by our official photographer who will ask for permission before taking photos.
What if I am nervous or shy?
Some guys are nervous about attending their first fetish event or feel that they will be either expected to join in, or left feeling left out. You are not alone, most of us have been there ourselves. If you aren't sure if it is your thing contact us on social media, or talk to the guy on the door and we'll help by finding someone to take you into the event or to have a look around. If you are not sure how to break the ice talk to one of our Team Members and when you are ready, they'll help introduce you to the other members.
What does it cost?
Membership is £5 for life; our memberships don't expire. Entry is usually £5 for each event, but we often run free or reduced-price entry promotions.
What are your plans for the future?
In the future we hope to get a large range of play equipment and move to twice monthly events. In time we'd like to open Club Locked events in other locations across the country and beyond, operating under the same inclusive, friendly ethos, but run locally by volunteers.
