We take the safety of our members really seriously. We look at our new members every day to try and catch any spammers or fake profiles and when we find them, we remove them from the website immediately.
We're busy developing more ways to make sure that we capture fake profiles and spam messages before they even reach your inbox, but in the meantime, here's a tip for the next few weeks:
As the Festive season gets painfully closer, you might see some profiles being created with the sole reason of sending you messages telling you that you've won a big prize and to email a person in order to claim it.
Remember, any official Recon message will have our official logo and the tag of Official Recon Message as well as a special background picture with our logo, so you can be extra sure that it's from us.
We'll never ask you for your personal information, we already know as much as we need to know about you (well, we're always up for hearing more about your fetish exploits. Feel free to share that information), so please be extra vigilant when checking your messages and make sure you report users that you think might be suspicious. You can do this by selecting the 'Report this member' option on the bottom right of any profile.
Don't forget, we'll always show you a warning message when you message anyone who has only just created their profile, reminding you to be extra careful.
