For the last week of September Team Recon jetted over to San Francisco and managed to pack in a whole load of fetish, filth and fun. It was a lot of hard work, but the Californian sunshine made it a whole lot easier!
After arriving on Tuesday we had an early start Wednesday morning to have a photo shoot with incredible photographer Robbie Sweeny and our two hot, beefy models Andrés Campos and Scott Gardner. We managed to survive rush hour traffic and hit three different locations across the city, getting some amazing images that we'll be using in future campaigns.
Wednesday afternoon through to Friday afternoon we were sourcing materials and equipment and putting together our play spaces for Full Fetish on Friday night. If you check the Instagram link below you'll get an idea of how great the space looked. We were really proud of how the cruise maze turned out, and the fact it was rammed full of hot, sweaty men all night was good indication that it went down well too!
There were over 700 guys in attendance at Full Fetish and the party had an incredible atmosphere. There was a really great age range, with a lot of fetish newbies in attendance as well as the seasoned pros. Guys kept seeking us out and telling us how much fun they were having, which made all the hard work seem well worthwhile. MF3 provided the perfect soundtrack, and the dance floor saw almost as much action as the play areas.
The main gear of choice seemed to be harnesses, jocks and sportswear, though there were quite a large number of leather and rubber men getting up to no good as well.
Saturday night was Magnitude, the official dance event put on by the guys from Folsom. The event was huge, and despite a few unforeseeable teething problems with a new venue, the boys turned it out and produced one hell of a spectacular event. Thousands of guys were there for a good time, and that's exactly what they got.
Sunday was another early start as we set up our booth at Folsom Street Fair. Located outside legendary bar Powerhouse, we had an incredible day getting to meet members and the deviants of San Francisco. We chatted to many guys and had a whole lot of fun with the annual jock swap competition! Again, check the Recon Instagram to see some of the guys who took part. If you've never been to Folsom you need to make it a priority to go. It was one member of the team's first time, and he's now determined to make it an annual trip. It needs to be experienced to be believed.
By Sunday evening we were pretty much dead on our feet, so we never made it to Deviants Adult Arcade. All reports we've received, though, tell us that it was a perfect continuation of Folsom, and that the filthy fun continued to the early hours of Monday morning.
San Francisco is an incredible city with an amazing, open outlook which the guys from Folsom have tapped into to create an exciting weekend of fetish action. We really can't wait to get back there in 2016 for the next round of limitless debauchery.
