One steps down – another aims to step up. Farewell Sly and good luck to Rub InuKi.

Endearingly known to many as “Sly”, the current Mr International Rubber gets ready to hand off his title after representing the Rubber community – at home in Manchester UK, as well as abroad. As he prepares to step down, the current Mr Rubber UK, known to all as “Pup InuKi” sets off to bring the esteemed title back home to the UK.
Recon event manager, Antoin, had a chat with InuKi and here’s what he had to say:
- Is this your first trip to Chicago?
“Yes. It’s been on my list for a long time, but I've never gotten around to it. Everything I have heard so far has been amazing and I’m really looking forward to seeing what Chicago brings to the kink map.”
- How does it feel to be representing the UK at Mr International Rubber?
“It’s amazing to have so many people message me online to wish me well. It feels like I have the whole of the UK behind me and I'm very proud to have the opportunity to represent and showcase our Rubber community. Thanks too, to the guys at Invincible Rubber for such amazing gear.”
- You’ve become good friends with the outgoing Mr International Rubber – Si Hands, as well as Kilker - Mr Leather UK. Does it give you more confidence knowing that you’ll have such good support in Chicago?
“I couldn't have asked for better brothers to share this year with, they have been with me 100% of the way. It’s great to know that they will get to share this experience with me, and be there on the side, cheering me along. It’s really felt like the three of us taking on the world this year - each doing our own events, but always coming back together.”
- As a title holder you’ve had to travel quite a bit over the past year. Did you learn anything new? Interesting?
“I’m blessed to have had the chance to travel (it’s become my driving passion throughout the year) and to be welcomed into and embraced by the many fetish and kink communities around the world - with the sash on or off. On the fun side, you never stop opening your horizons to the many kinks out there. Meeting more horny guys also means more ways to get your rocks off.”
- What would winning the Mr International Rubber 16 title mean to you?
“Winning Mr International Rubber would be amazing, especially coming from Cardiff, Wales - where not many people are confident enough to come out kinky in public – and it will hopefully inspire more people to kink up and take part in the many events around the world.
It’s been a long personal journey for me, where I've learnt so much more about myself since getting involved in the whole “Sash community” and it’s made me more confident and sure of who I am and what I’m capable of. Becoming the next Mr International Rubber will cement that for me and, of course, gives me even more opportunities to travel and see more of the horny fetish events around the world. Oh yeah, horny guys too.”
