Hello Everyone,
Antoin from Recon here.
On behalf of all of us here at Team Recon, I'd like to say a massive "THANK YOU" for coming out to Fetish Week London 2023.
The Brand Team and I started putting ideas together for this year's event back in August 2022 – and I cannot thank the team enough, for all of the support and hard work they've put in, to help make this event a success.
Planning an 8-day event isn't easy, and I'm the first one to admit that some things don't always go completely to plan. But there were other elements of the week which were truly amazing for me: the Members' Party, Film Screening, Cabaret, and the Masterclass. I want to take the time to celebrate these with you, and hope you also had special moments throughout the week.
I'd also like to thank our sponsors: Clonezone, REGULATION, ABUniverse and Mr Riegillio. Thank you to the venues that hosted us: EGG, FIRE, Electrowerkz, Steel Yard, RVT (Royal Vauxhall Tavern) and the Prince Charles Cinema. Thank you to the other bars and clubs that hosted a fun schedule of external events, as well as the fetish shops that hosted events: Prowler Red, Clonezone, REGULATION, FETCH, Arch and Fetish Freak.
Kink education was a very important part of the Brand Team's strategy for this year, and I'd like to thank all of the presenters and educators that helped to make this event such a success. We are considering creating a separate MASTERCLASS event as a spin-off, so watch this space.
It was great to see the smiles throughout the week, and I'd also like to thank all of the DJs, artists, hosts and performers that took part in the Members' Party, Fetish Cabaret, Full Fetish and Spit Roast Social, as well as our volunteers and events crew.
It's not been 24 hours yet, and there's so much feedback coming in. Absolutely amazing. Good, mixed or otherwise, I personally read through each and everyone of them and would like to thank you for sending it in.
There was a lot of feedback from attendees of the 2022 event as well as comments on what we might improve, and we read through them all. While we couldn't do everything you asked for, I'm pleased that we could make a number of improvements as well as introduce new elements to the event. Sharing your constructive thoughts with us is how we know we're on the right track, and where we can improve and continue to make the event not just successful, but enjoyable.
Once again, we're humbled by the love and support you've shown throughout Fetish Week London 2023. I met a lot of people and hope you also made some good and meaningful connections.
Keep an eye on the Recon Home Feed, as we'll soon be releasing more content from the event and announcing the dates for #FWL2024.
Until next year,
Antoin
